David Scott

David Scott grew up in Bend, Oregon graduating from Bend Senior High in l964.  He attended the University of Oregon until enlisting in the Army in January 1966.  Basic training was at Fort Ord, advanced training was at Fort. Gordon and airborne training was at Fort Benning.  Mr. Scott spent 14 months with the 101st Airborne in Viet Nam, extended 6 months to become Lt. General Rosson’s driver, then became Lt. General Rosson’s enlisted aide and was also Lt. General Stillwell’s enlisted aide when he replaced Lt. General Rosson.  Mr. Scott spent a total of 27 months in Viet Nam.

Mr. Scott has been involved in the following businesses:

Owned Scott’s Fireplaces in Bend, Oregon in the 70’s.
Owned a residential/commercial painting business in Alaska in the 80’s.
Sold real estate in Alaska and Montana.
Was involved in the Mortgage Business.
Owned a motel and trailer Park in Fossil, Oregon.
Owned a lighting and electrical business in Sacramento, CA. in then 90’s.
Was a union carpenter in California and Nevada.
Owned several small construction companies.

His construction experience is as follows:
Proficient in wood and metal framing.
Proficient in concrete.
Proficient in under ground utilities.
Proficient in concrete tilt up buildings.
Proficient in sheet rocking and taping.
Proficient in painting.
Proficient in finish carpentry.
Proficient in superintending.
Proficient in project management.
Proficient in starting and running businesses.

Mr. Scott excels in river rafting/kayaking/hiking and fishing.
